Гидрологический и биологический режимы озер Восточной Антарктиды

В работе рассмотрены особенности гидрологического и биологического режимов разнотипных озер оазисов Восточной Антарктиды: Холмы Тала, оазис Ширмахера и Холмы Ларсеманн – в летний период 2010–2011 гг. В озерах, покрытых льдом,
отмечена обратная температурная стратификация. В придонном горизонте воды температура (около 4 °С) близка к значениям, характерным для воды с максимальной плотностью. На вскрывшихся мелких озерах наблюдается изотермия, вода в некоторых водоемах прогревается до 8 °С. Донные сообщества цианобактерий и беспозвоночных представляют собой основную биологическую компоненту озер, в которых отсутствует классическая пищевая цепь и преобладает микробная петля. Исследования показали, что 3-метровый слой льда пропускает достаточное количество света даже до глубины 30 м. Свет не лимитирует развитие водорослей и цианобактерий. Однако низкое содержание биогенных веществ в воде ограничивает рост фитопланктона, обусловливая низкие значения биомассы (менее 0.01 мг/л) и концентрации хлорофилла а (0.1–0.45 мкг/л). Отмечена тенденция изменения климата в районе оазиса Ширмахера. В последние десятилетия некоторые озера, постоянно покрытые льдом в середине прошлого века, начали вскрываться в летние месяцы. В период, когда озеро находится подо льдом, устанавливается гомотермия с температурой воды 4 °С. После вскрытия водоема в результате ветро-волнового выхолаживания температура воды падает до 0.5–1 °С.
